Keshab obtained his M.Sc. from Sambalpur University, Odisha in 2008. He joined the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2009 for doctoral studies. After completing his Ph.D. in organic chemistry, in 2016, he moved to Ariel University, Israel, for postdoctoral research; he was involved in developing organic umpolung methodologies using iodoaryl enolate chemistry. In 2018, he moved to the University of Arizona, for another post-doctoral stint, to design and synthesize organic materials for organic solar cells and mechanically controllable break-junctions. Currently, he is a CSIR-SRA (Scientist's Pool scheme) in IISER Tvm, Kerala. His research is focused on developing synthetic methodologies and organic materials for broad-spectrum applications.
